The first railway workshop within the context of the RAILVET project (Railway Operation in ECVET), supported by the LLP - Leonardo da Vinci Programme of the European Union, was held on 12-14 December 2011 in Istanbul / TURKEY with the participation of the representatives of the partner institutions and the external railway experts, cooperated within the context of the Project.

The workshop is followed by the partner meeting, the main objectives of which were:

 to check the completion of the tasks stated in the third conclusion report of the project signed during the Paris meeting,

 to check the so-far expenses and financial documents and dissemination activities related to the project tasks,

 to revise the training programme for “operation” job family in railway sector in line with the evaluations of the external experts received before and during the workshop,

 to make preparations for the progress report of the project,

 to prepare and sign the fourth conclusion report of the RAILVET Project.
